　This is a bold Minase modeled after Eisui's finest pieces. Each of Kunizo's four major typefaces requires a great deal of work. Each time, we discuss with the artist and make every effort to make the work as attractive as possible. This piece is made of a dark-colored peacock wood selected from among thousands of pieces of wood.

　To-Shichisei is a typeface arranged from the characters of seven Chinese calligraphers, including Wang Xizhi and Ouyang Xun. It beautifully captures the essence of brushwork and is a popular typeface, but it is difficult to carve. It is said that if you can carve this, you are considered a master. It has excellent contrast and definition, and I believe it is a perfect carved piece.

　Each of Kunizo's four major typefaces is very elaborate. We have to make an effort to make the work as attractive as possible by discussing it with the artist each time. 　I love Eisui's bold typeface. I have been asking artists to make it a little thicker, but they has not given us a good answer, saying that it would take more time and effort than a fine one. This time, my favorite set was completed by Kunizo's Minase calligraphy. The typeface is copied from Eisui's Minase, and everything is done in Eisui's style. It seems that a lot of effort was put into this piece, but I like it very much. The piece is made of dark-colored Satsuma wood, making it a very powerful piece.
